Scope and operator
Wyckoff Files is an offline educational iPhone application operated under the name Wyckoff Files. This policy covers version 1.0.0 and its publicly hosted legal and support pages. The operator name is an application-name default, not a verified corporate identity.
Information stored on your device
The application stores dossier progress, visible observations, event and range annotations, sealed stage hypotheses, optional local seat aliases, lesson answers and attempts, reading progress, display preferences, imported CSV datasets and personal notes on your iPhone. Built-in market records are synthetic teaching data. There is no account registration, identity verification or brokerage connection.
Collection and sharing
The application does not upload your datasets, answers or notes. It has no advertising, analytics, tracking SDK, in-app purchases, iCloud synchronization or real-time market feed. Backups and exports leave the application only when you choose a destination in the iOS share or file interface. That destination applies its own privacy practices.
Public pages and network requests
Opening Privacy, Terms or Support requests the published page over HTTPS from Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare necessarily processes connection metadata such as IP address, requested URL, time and user-agent to deliver and secure the page, under its own privacy policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/. These pages contain no analytics scripts or advertising cookies. The app uses a nonpersistent WKWebView store and provides a bundled fallback if a request fails. No user investigation data is included in these requests.
Camera and microphone
This version does not capture camera images or record microphone audio and does not request access to either. Usage descriptions are present in the app configuration. If you voluntarily attach an image or voice file through a system mail or support tool, that tool handles the attachment under its own permissions.
Retention and controls
Local records remain until you delete them, clear the user archive or uninstall the app. Built-in teaching content remains available when clearing personal data. Export a backup before uninstalling. No operator-side retention period applies to investigation data because it is not uploaded. Hosting metadata retention is governed by Cloudflare. The app cannot delete copies you exported to another destination.
Security and backups
Records are stored in the iOS application sandbox. This is not a guarantee against device loss or unauthorized device access. Protect your device and exported backups. Active blind investigations export only visible data as read-only truncated snapshots and cannot be resumed as complete blind sessions after import.
Children and rights
The intended minimum age is 13, inferred from the educational subject matter. The app is not directed to children under 13. You can inspect, export or delete local records in Preferences without contacting a server. For support or rights questions, use the contact below; legal rights may also depend on your location.

Material changes will be reflected in an updated policy date. Contact: wyckofffiles@support.com. This is a workflow-default address and is not yet verified as a monitored support channel. Replace it with an operational address before App Store submission.
